I’ve been trading Forex for a while, but recently I’ve gotten curious about futures, especially crude oil and the E-mini indexes. Before I even think about going live, I want to test a few setups, but I’m not connected to any futures broker yet. Is there a decent way to backtest futures strategies without needing a live account or real-time data feed? Ideally something that lets me simulate trades and tweak entries.

You can easily backtest futures strategies using platforms like TradingView or NinjaTrader, which offer powerful simulation tools and historical data without risking real money. I personally found that using these tools feels almost like the real thing, but sometimes raw accel installation required tweaks make the process smoother and more accurate.
